Jensen Ackles At Comic Con 2010!

Jared Padalecki hits up the Supernatural panel with co-star Jensen Ackles at Comic-Con 2010 held at California’s San Diego Convention Center on Sunday (July 25).

New showrunner Sera Gamble commented on Jensen’s directorial debut. She shared, “He was like a seasoned director at the first meeting.” Jensen said that he approached directing based on advice from exec producer Kim Manners. (He directed fourth episode “Weekend at Bobby’s”.)

Fans yelled for Jensen to take his shirt off, so Jared looks under the table and says, “His pants are off?”

Newlywed Jensen Ackles snacks on some gummy candies while shooting the sixth season of his hit CW series, Supernatural, on Thursday (July 22) in Vancouver, Canada.


On Sunday, the 32-year-old actor will attend the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con 2010 in San Diego, Calif. The panel will also feature creator Eric Kripke, new showrunner Sera Gamble, and some of the show’s other stars including Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Jim Beaver.

Danneel Harris & Jensen Ackles Get Married Tonight!

Hear that, kiddos? That's the sound of wedding bells ringing—or can you not hear them over millions of fans crying?

The much-rumored wedding is actually about to come to pass: Supernatural hunk Jensen Ackles and his buxom bride-to-be and One Tree Hill regular Danneel Harris are getting married in mere hours.

So where will the duo being saying "I do"?

The beautiful twosome is heading home (for Jensen, at least) to Dallas. All the fam in attendance (plus, a certain newlywed costar, we're sure) and fewer stalkers passionate fans trying to weasel into the wedding party. Win-win, right?

Danneel, as much as we're sure you'd love to hear, is no bridezilla. She finally gets to walk—or run (hey, the babe's been waiting for this day for a long time)—down the aisle with her demon-hunting dude, and we're sure she'll look primped, pouty and fab.

Jensen Ackles & Danneel Harris: 'Back-Up Plan' Pair

Jensen Ackles comes out to support his fiancee Danneel Harris at the premiere of her new movie, The Back-up Plan held at the Regency Village Theatre on Wednesday (April 21) in Westwood, Calif.

Danneel has talked about her character in the movie before: “I play the nemesis to [Jennifer Lopez]. The first day I met her, I had to call her like fat ’cause I play this really sweet hippie girl who used to date Alex O’Loughlin and now he’s seeing J.Lo’s character. I’m really sweet in front of him, but when I’m not in front of him, I’m evil. It’s a girl thing. But it was like, ‘Hi, Miss Lopez, superstar… I just called you fat’. But I get to have a lot of scenes with her, but it was really, really cool.”

Jensen Ackles strums the guitary and belts out a little tune — his own rendition of Bob Dylan’s “The Weight” — at the “Jus in Bello” Supernatural convention over the weekend in Rome, Italy.

From Smallville to Captain America?

February 10, 2010 - Joe Johnston, the director of The First Avenger: Captain America, recently revealed that the casting of the title role in the forthcoming Marvel movie is down to five or six actors between the ages of 23-32. A casting decision is expected to be made before Johnston leaves for London on March 1 to begin pre-production on the film, which starts shooting there in June.

Big Shiny Robot claims to have heard that three TV actors have read for the role of Cap, two of whom are within the age range that Johnston gave for the half-dozen finalists. Again, the site says these three actors have read for the part, not that any of them got it or are even the frontrunners for it.

First up is Supernatural star Jensen Ackles, who turns 32 next month. He's got experience in live-action comic book productions, having previously appeared as "Jason Teague" on Smallville. His other credits include the TV series Dark Angel and the recent 3D remake of My Bloody Valentine.

Next is Chad Michael Murray, 29, the former star of One Tree Hill whose credits also include the TV series Dawson's Creek and Gilmore Girls and the feature films House of Wax, Freaky Friday and Home of the Brave. Murray's previous stab at playing a masked hero was as the title character in the 2003 TV revival of The Lone Ranger.

The third actor rumored to have read for Cap is Ryan McPartlin, a.k.a. Chuck's "Captain Awesome." McPartlin also played a superhero in the 2003 comic book comedy Super Capers. But at 35, McPartlin is older than the actors Johnston said were among the handful of finalists for the role.
